Introduction

This blog will be used to document my A2 media coursework. For the coursework unit I will be working in a group with 2 other people to produce a horror film trailer, along with 2 print works - a film poster and a film magazine front cover. In order to do this I will use skills I have aquired from studying media at AS level, as well as any new skills that I develop during this level of study. The study of television drama at AS will definitely be of great use when it comes to producing the film trailer, whilst the experience I gained when using photoshop to produce my AS coursework (music magazine) will be extremely helpful when making the 2 print works that will accompany the trailer. As well as using practical and technical skills, I will also used analytical skills to analyse and interpret music videos and film trailers when looking for inspiration for our own production.
